Scheduled
To improve the security of RM SafetyNet we issued a new root certificate in January 2017 which uses 384-bit encryption. All users of SafetyNet were encouraged to install the new root certificate on workstations at this time, however we continued to support the less secure root certificate in parallel with the new one.

We will be withdrawing support for the less secure certificate in a phased manner between 14 November 2017 and 23 November 2017.

You can check that your browser has the new root certificate installed by browsing to:

http://certificatecheck.rm.com

Instructions on how to install the new root certificate, if required, can be found here:

http://www.rm.com/products/online-safety-tools/rm-safetynet/google-ssl

This change only affects customers who are using the SSL interception service.
